Easterton Stables is a fully licenced riding school and livery yard, approved by the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS), run by proprietors Rosemary Brown and David Ralston. Located in beautiful countryside overlooking the Campsie Fells, Easterton provides a full range of tuition and livery services with all year turnout.

Riding lessons for adults and children of all abilities are offered on a one to one private basis through to group and specialised instruction. Hacking can be enjoyed through nearby Mugdock Country Park.

Courses are available for complete beginners to those studying for professional qualifications, including ABRS riding and stable management courses and UKCC Coaching Levels 1 and 2. Also Riding & Road Safety, Easter/Summer childrens' courses and lease weeks.

Easterton is a previous winner of The Scottish Enterprise Modern Apprentice Employer of the Year Award and a LANTRA Industry Award. Facilities include a large all weather floodlit outdoor arena, indoor floodlit arena, horse walker, cross country course, exercise track, excellent hacking and tack room.

Outdoor arena

During the summer months there is a regular schedule of events primarily geared to encourage novice riders to enter and enjoy competitions such as showjumping, dressage and cross country.

Easterton also incorporates its own stud, DRB Youngstock, successfully breeding, backing, schooling and selling quality horses and ponies.

The Easterton website is undergoing a slight revamp and update for 2012.

Most of the work so far has concentrated on adding new pages in the Archive section which also includes a new photo gallery. It is hoped that many more fun images will be added over the coming months.
