Purple Day raises £1,324
On Sunday 25th September, this years fundraising day was held in support of Erskine Hospital, which provides nursing and medical care for members of our armed forces. Everyone visiting the stables was encouraged to wear as much purple clothing and items as possible to get into the spirit of the day.
Visitors enjoyed Pony Rides, a Cake and Candy Stall, a Raffle, and a Bric-a-Brac Stall amongst other things. Hot & Cold refreshments will be available throughout the day. On the agenda for all those participating on horseback, was a Handy Horse competition, where competitors had to negotiate an obstacle course.

Then for the more experienced riders, a fun Le Trec competition from 1pm, which again involves a series of obstacles and jumps both within the arena and out round the canter track. The day finished with a Fancy Dress Dressage to Music competition.
